The Threat to Alaska's Oil Tax System, ACES

There's currently an operation underway to give billions of dollars back to the oil companies in Alaska, undermining the tax system passed under Governor Palin's administration known as ACES (Alaska's Clear and Equitable Share). These are things that are good to understand especially since we're talking about Governor Palin's record.

Bob and Mark explain a little bit of what's happening:

Here's a link to the pdf of the Tax Foundation's Alaska ranking.

And they talked about it with Senator Wielechowski this morning:

When Bob and Mark talk about the pipeline being owned and tariffs, etc... they're referring to the fact that the oil line in Alaska is controlled by the Big Three oil companies, Exxon, BP, and ConocoPhilips. They charge other smaller companies a tariff to ship their oil in the pipeline. This is why Governor Palin was so adamant about the natural gas pipeline being built by a separate entity like TransCanada.

Bob and Mark Talk about Palin and Alaska

From this morning on the Bob and Mark Show:

Bob Lester was also interviewed by the BBC at what appears to be the start of the Iron Dog race. They asked his opinion on whether Sarah will run and if she could win. He doesn't think she'll run (that's nothing new. He's held that opinion for a long time now), but if she does run, she will win. The interview is here. Bob is at 1:10. Tracey of Alaskans4Palin is on right before him.

Vids - BAM and Tammy Bruce

The Bob and Mark Show talk about Palin "looting" the Silver Spoon gifting suite:

And now for some Tammy Bruce:

Oh, and the rumor mill says that Bristol may have moved out and gotten a place of her own in Anchorage. I don't know if it's true or not. Of course the rumors are spinning it negatively. "Who's going to take care of Tripp? She hates her mother!" etc...

Um, Bristol already has a babysitter in Anchorage. I believe she works in Anchorage. The sitter already watches him while she's working. She goes and sees him sometimes on her lunch breaks. This would be more convenient for her all around. And seriously, who wants to live with their parents for the rest of their life? Sheeesh.

The "scandals" of the Underworld crack me up. Like the whole assertion that Sarah got plastic surgery. Okay, let's just say she got a nip and a tuck. So?

Throw her in jail, right? Because we all know that's illegal. LOL!

Happy Belated Birthday, Sarah Palin!

Belated for me, but not for Bob and Mark. The Bob and Mark Show out of Anchorage, Alaska, called up their former Governor on February 11th to wish her a happy birthday!

Their website is here. It's a good morning show, but I'm warning you, it's rated PG-13. It's a morning show on a rock station. It starts at 5:35 AM and goes to 10:00 AM Alaska time. In the Central Time Zone the show starts around 8:35 in the morning. You can figure it out from there.

Mark leans more conservative. Bob is more of an Independent, but they're both independent-minded.

Some of Sarah's best interviews are with these guys. They're kind of friends of hers and she's known them for years. There's a playlist of other videos with Sarah and these two guys here.

More BAM stuff here.

The Bob and Mark Show

Bob and Sarah at the Combat Fishing Tournament

The Bob and Mark Show is a morning show in Anchorage, Alaska. They were big supporters of Palin in her campaign for Governor, and if you want to check out those audio bites, just check out my You Tube channel. Link is on the right-hand side.

Here's Bob and Mark early this morning on the Todd Palin advising his wife "scandal":

And I thought this was kinda fun too:

Videos - Tammy Bruce, BAM, and Machosauce

First up, Tammy Bruce on "Why Jews Hate Palin." She throws in a bit about Todd at the end of part two:

Now, the Bob and Mark Show has some fun with Hollis French. If you're familiar with Alaska politics, you'll get this:

And lastly, Machosauce has some fun with the underwear bomber:

Late-Nite Vids

I got a few more Bob and Mark vids. I don't know why the audio sounds a little hollow. I'll try to get that fixed. The first is a follow-up to the previous open letter to Sarah. The other two are Sarah's complete interview with the BAM Show while she was in Idaho during the book tour. A video of this was already posted online, but this one is 20 minutes, whereas that one was 11 minutes. Also a vid from Greta's show talking about the most admired women in America:

An Open Letter to Sarah Palin on the Bob and Mark Show (videos)

I'm not sure if I necessarily agree with the idea that "Buy American" will fix all of our problems, but I thought this was cool, nonetheless:

I'll have more cool vids for you tonight. Stay tuned:)

SP Video Sunday

I've got a treat for you today. An brand-new interview of Palin that I just dug up from January of '08. After Senate President Lyda Green threw a hissy fit because Sarah wanted to do her state of the state speech one hour earlier so she could catch a flight to Georgia to watch her son graduate from boot camp, the Anchorage Bob and Mark morning show spent an hour talking about how disgusting the whole thing was. They also ran down the list of lies Lyda Green and media spokesperson Jeff Turner gave as to why they couldn't do the state of the state earlier. Sarah Palin called in at the end and talked about it. That interview can be found here.

You'll notice that Sarah gives a caught-off-guard giggle when Bob calls Lyda a name. Well, the headlines the next day weren't about Lyda's childishness or her lies, but about Sarah's laugh. Sarah called in after she got back to Alaska and took the high road:

The day after Sarah Palin apologized for chuckling at Bob's remarks, Bob and Mark made fun of those who hate Sarah Palin for the fact that she is breathing (Dan Fagan is the obvious target.):

Late Nite Goodies

First, another Sarah Palin interview I've dug from the ether of the Bob and Mark Show. This one's on the oil and gas issues with the legislature:

Secondly, this tidbit from O'Reilly tonight:

Thirdly, Machosauce's new vid, only available for a limited time:

And, if you're Bill589, a couple threads to get you through for now here, here, here, and here. In no particular order.

And Oprah tweeted earlier today: "Then going home to finish Sarah Palin's book. She's on a week from today."

Palin's Book Tour

From the LOTUS:

I am very, very excited about the upcoming road trip for my book. It will be an honor to meet as many of you as possible!

“Going Rogue” publisher HarperCollins is working hard to schedule book signings across the nation, and we’ll be announcing the locations in the next day or two. I’ve decided to travel to cities outside of the typical book tour venues, and I hope to cover as much of the country as I can.

We’re in the process of arranging interviews with local and national media. An interview with Oprah Winfrey is already scheduled, and I’m also hoping to have the opportunity to talk with Bill O’Reilly, Barbara Walters, Sean Hannity, Greta Van Susteren, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Laura Ingraham, Dennis Miller, Tammy Bruce, and others, including local Alaska personalities Bob & Mark and Eddie Burke. (Variety is the spice of life!)

Can’t wait to hit the road. Can’t wait to see you!

- Sarah Palin
The excitement is mutual! Hmmm, looks like all fairly good interview choices. Barbara Walters one on one is okay, but just not the View, please.

Is it bad that I'm the most excited about her going on the Bob and Mark Show? I'm pretty much addicted to those guys now. Problem is, I can't listen because I'm not around when they're streaming live and they don't podcast. Grrrr, shame on those guys for getting me hooked and then taking away my BAM fix!

(If anybody out there would like to record it for me, please feel free:)

New Video

This is a really cool interview from Oct. 3, 2006. The Bob and Mark Show call Sarah Palin at home, Todd picks up. Check it out:

New Video

Okay, it's actually old. I just added an interview with Sarah and John Binkley on the day of the Republican primary for Governor of Alaska to my You Tube channel. Date was 8-22-06. Sarah, of course, won the primary.

If you're familiar with Sarah's background in Alaska, you'll find part two hillarious - let's just say Sarah's silence speaks volumes. She also answers the burning question of our time: what kind of drink should you buy her?

Palin-Hunting II UPDATED: Vid Links

Sarah gives State of State Address. Senate President Lyda Green is over her left shoulder.

The Bob and Mark show is a morning show in Alaska. I'd heard most of their post-VP race commentary on Palin, but never the pre-VP race stuff. Thanks to, I believe it was CruelaDev of C4P, I finally found some of the pre-election stuff, including actual interviews with Governor Palin. I haven't listened to all of them yet, but here's one really cool interview:

http://www.bobandmarksuck.com/blog/?p=241

There's lots more on the site, starting at the beginning in 2006 when Sarah was still a gubernatorial candidate.

UPDATE:

I dug through some of the podcasts and got a few interview clips up on You Tube. Just check out my videos on my channel: http://www.youtube.com/uffdamega52

The new ones have to do with Sarah calling the Bob and Mark Show.
