So I was watching New Mexico's Governor on Fox and Friends this morning. And he was going on and on about how this Arizona bill is racist and allows for racial profiling, etc...

And then the Fox and Friends guy pointed out that the bill specifically says that you cannot question someone based just on their race or even country of origin. They have to be actually doing something wrong, as in, breaking the law. For example, you speed, an officer pulls you over, and he asks for your driver's license, WHICH HE WOULD ASK FOR ANYWAY. You don't have one? There's reason to suspect that you're illegal? Well, then he can do something about it.

Then Richardson jumps back in and says something like, "This is racial profiling and it's unconstitutional because you can't just randomly ask for someone's papers, that's unreasonable search and seizure, it's unconstitutional..."

He's right, that is unconstitutional. THAT'S WHY IT'S NOT ALLOWED.

Are all Democrats this stupid?
